Let's Be Clear:Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Let’s be clear: A healthier life is out there, and we’re here to help you find the treatment you need. Whether you’re taking the first step for yourself or supporting a loved one, remember that help is available and recovery is possible.

Often it starts with finding a provider in your area that you can schedule with to talk.

Let's Be Clear:

A return to use, or a lapse, may occur as a part of the recovery process but does not signal the end of it. It’s a temporary departure from an individual’s recovery plan.

Does Relapse Mean Treatment Failed?

No. Recovery is a process with peaks and valleys, not a straight line. Each step, including the hard ones, provides valuable lessons and opportunities for recovery. What matters most is how you respond and that you continue moving forward.

The term “re” means again, so a relapse happens when someone lapses more than once, is unable to maintain their recovery and returns to their previous levels of use.

Let's Be Clear:

Experiencing a relapse doesn't mean treatment isn't working.
